Well, at least for her books! (I hope you don’t feel tricked – but have you seen Judy lately? She’s still a hottie!)
Some of my favorite Judy Blume books are the ones she wrote for teens – those envelope-pushing, hard-hitting, really real novels that made us feel like someone gets us. Before we had Laurie Halse Anderson and Sarah Dessen, before there was Lauren Myracle and John Green, there was Judy Blume. Books like Deenie, Forever…, and Rachel Robinson changed the face of young adult literature. Her books couldn’t possibly go out of style…even if their packaging has!
